Friday night! (called Fredag Aften! in Danish) is developed by Maya Boelsmand, who is the data controller for the app. This page explains what information is collected when you use the app, and what you can choose yourself.

In short

Ads (Google AdMob)

Free players see ads from Google AdMob. The first time you open the app, we ask for your consent with Google's consent message, and then iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency).

Depending on your choices, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID/IDFA, only if you allow tracking), your approximate location based on your IP address, information about which ads you see and tap, and technical data about your device and crashes. If you say no, Google still shows ads, but they aren't tailored to you.

You can change your consent at any time under Settings → Privacy settings in the app, and you can turn tracking on or off in iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Read more in Google's privacy policy and about how Google uses data from apps.

Purchases and subscriptions

Friday night+ and single 18+ categories are paid through Apple. Apple handles the payment and doesn't share your payment details with us. The app only learns which purchases are active, so it can unlock the right content.

Information on your phone

The app stores a few settings on your phone, such as the language you play in and which categories you've unlocked for tonight by watching an ad. They never leave your phone and are deleted when you delete the app.

Age

Friday night! is a party game for grown-ups and is not meant for children.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and the right to object, among others. We don't store any personal data about you ourselves, so requests about advertising data are handled by Google. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) or the data protection authority where you live.
